Cutest Porch on the Block

We had 2 days off from school due to UEA days. How I loved having those days off. If only I could only work 3 days a week (but have a 5 day income!)
I decorated for fall, cleaned, took Kelsi and Logan out and sewed! And relaxed!

Snow on those mountains!

I mowed the lawn for the last time on Friday! Winter is coming and coming fast. Look at those mountains. Another wonderful summer done!

I was brave

Kelsi and her friend and I went to downtown Salt Lake to the end of the line of Trax. Look they both fit in one seat!
We had a fun day.

Great idea

I take no credit for this: Janine sent me this cute idea and I copied it. The gal I gave this to loved it.

I never can just make one of anything

Can I just say I am in the apron business!
Janine sent me this wonderful key fob and yes, I made a pile of them also!

And no picture of them but I probably made 15 headbands of fabric this summer also.

Peaches from Brigham City

My sister is very kind and generous. She came to my house one Saturday and brought me fresh peaches and everything to make peach cobbler.

Here it is done!

Colby and Roofus

After BYU played UW Colby and Roofus went back to WA with his friends who came to watch the game.

I sent them off on their way - 3 young men and Colby and Roofus - and we said our goodbyes.

It was so sad. We loved having Colby home for the summer. He interned at a company in Lindon and had the best experience and was paid for it. We have known these boys since Colby was in 7ht grade and it was nice to see them all grown up.

I was not sure about Colby bringing his dog. I thought I hated dogs. Roofus grew on me and I ended up liking him. Whenever the dishwasher lid was down he would come and nose around for scraps. He would lick my dishes. I hated that but I fed him scraps off the lid of the dishwasher.

Roofus was Kim's friend. They went on walks and he would lay where he was working. He loved to watch us out this window and when we used the water outside he would bark.
