Security Breach!

Well, it goes to show I can be bribed.  Read this disclaimer first......

1.  I had watched 3 kids eat breakfast sandwiches, hash browns and orange juice while the line went down.
2.  Very rarely do I eat breakfast.
3.  I had been up since 5:15.
4.  It was 9:30 when this happened.

Knowing this.....read on.

Friday at school they passed out graduation items to the kids.  Our principal came to my door, looked in, said, "Lock up we need your help."  So there I was helping out with graduation.  It was very well thought out.  You enter our gym high up on an indoor track.  The kids walked around the track to a table, if they were passed off to graduate, they got a ticket and went down the stairs to the gym floor and received  their cap, gown, stole and cords.  I was asked to stand by a metal thing that blocked off the track and made them go only one way.  Now, many who came in did not want to walk all the way around but asked if they could squeeze by.  I would say no and get them to go around.  A cute boy named Jr tried 2 times. Then he appeared with a breakfast sandwich and asked if I wanted it.  My mouth watered and I said sure.  As I was unwrapping the sandwich, I looked up and much to my surprise there he was walking where he was not supposed to be!!!
No big time security job for me, I guess I can be easily bought off!

Look Who I Found!

One of my dearest friends I have known for 15 years has moved to Utah.  Not only to Utah, but to my next door town.  Sue Grover is building a home with her husband and she is going to be my neighbor.
I could not be more pleased.

4 weeks of school left and I did it!

When I started at Westlake at the copy center I was trying to get to know all the teachers and chat with them and remember who they were.  So many were so nice to me and it was easy to get to know them.

There was one math teacher in particular who would not even look at me but just walk in drop off their copies and come back later to get them. I made it a personal goal of mine to get to know him and better yet to get him to laugh.

Now, I worked on this goal for the whole school year, baby steps and on Friday I did it !!!!!!

On Friday not only did he laugh at something I said,  but said something back at me in return that was funny, that went along with what I had said to him, and he had a smile on his face that reached his eyes!

People, my work is done.  4 weeks of school left and I have completed my goal!  YEAH!
