Saturday Day Trip

How many years have we lived in Utah? Yea, about that many. We have never been to the Great Salt Lake. We hopped in the car and drove up to Antelope Island.

This looks like we are in another state.  Such a beautiful image. 

Note the reflection in the water.  It had the same smells and sounds as Seaside Oregon.  A town that I love.

A sign said watch out for bison.  We saw this huge animal alive.  So amazing.  

They are huge and can run 30 miles an hour. 

The next stop was Bountiful  Kim's grandpa is buried here.  He thought he remembered where the grave was.  We came to his funeral in 1994.  Every Memorial Day we have said we wished we could come and place flowers on his grave. 

We doubled checked on this chart and sure enough he walked right to it.
